BASH 63 is devoted to talking about all the Call of Duty news that have hit us this month. To discuss all the cool events that have occurred this June...and the month ain't over...is regular BASH'er, {PST}*Joker from mycallofduty.com.
The main points we get to are:
1. CoD4 Patch v1.6 came out on the 5th of June.
- What did the patch do?
- Kill cams broken and therefore unavailable for v1.6.
- Did any of the patches address the top 10 things the community wants? Did IW provide them?
Here are those top 10 items.
1. Server browser name length
2. Server browser issues
3. Server browser filters
4. Colored game tags displayed in game.
5. Gun sway issue.
6. Sniping still off.
7. Issued with .iwd map files. If placed in map folder they still cause random crashes.
8. Bad spawn locations
9. Damage values for the AK47+red dot are off.
10. CoDTV: a MUST for competition.
And something that has just come to light...
2. IW putting additional cvar filters to prevent sv_cheat exploits. This will form basis for v1.7 patch
3. 402's personal blog. Is it ethical?
4. Thanks to nVidia for bringing the Variety Map Pack to PC gamers. The Map pack includes four new maps for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare multiplayer including.
Broadcast - imagine vacant on two floors,
Chinatown - Take CoDUO and CoD2 carentan and add chopsticks
Killhouse - Shipment style gameplay. WOuld make a great spawn rape map.
Creek - Overgrown thrown into a ravine
5. Linux server debacle
6. Treyarch begins to speak about CoD World at War. Is the new game relevant? Anyone interested in buying it?
7. Treyarch holding community get together. Are the people at the event shills for the company?
8. NERV LAN competition in PA drawing huge numbers of CoD teams.
