Background on the Awards

Here is some background on the Parsecs:

Mur Lafferty, Michael R. Mennenga & Tracy Hickman founded The Parsec Awards in 2006 to celebrate Speculative Fiction Podcasting, under the banner of Farpoint Media. One of the awards they have added as webcasting has grown is BEST GAMING PODCAST.

Podcast shows are nominated by fans, and finalists are chosen by a yearly steering committee. Those finalists are then voted on by an independent panel of judges from outside of podcasting. Awards are given in several categories ranging from content to audio quality.

Just recently we have noticed more folks listening to BASH and in fact, we had to upgrade our bandwidth quite significantly to accommodate those downloading the casts. People from all over the world are listening to us: from across the U.S. and Canada, to way down into Brazil and Argentina, across to Europe, Russia...a few in the Middle East, China and of course we have quite a few fans in good ol' Oz!

Our Guests

Originally I used to to this show all by myself and it was dying a slow death. LOL. Things turned around once we started getting interviews with people -- just like you -- in the Call of Duty community. My guests give up a great deal of their time to do the shows, so please throw your appreciation their way. Thanks to all the interviewees over this past year!
