BASHandSlash.com asked Mats of OpenWarfare what he and t3chn0r were planning for their CoD:WW and CoD4 multipurpose mod after v1.5.4. He gave us this fascinating glimpse into features of the next release.

Dusk til Dawn

The position of the sun and corresponding daylight can be set for any map. It can also be set random or you can let the server have the daylight you are having. Dark at night and light at day. A simulated day cycle from sunrise to night can be simulated and take place during 5 minutes if you would prefer.

Binoculars, I been fighting this a couple times but got it now lol. Binoculars will be added to both cod4 and 5.

ed: Note...we haven't seen Binoculars in CoD since CoD2!

Freeze tag, will be changed and no longer be a gametype but a feature. So you can add it to any gametype and play ie ftag search and destroy or ftag ctf

In addition:

• We are trying to add the rotating SP compass.
• More settings available in the Advanced ACP
• Modified weapons, use a scrollwheel or macro you will still only be able to shoot as fast as the weapons rpm. (optional)
• VIP Gametype, I am hoping that I will finish my version of VIP. Defend your officer at the same time that you try to take out the other teams officer.
