My Internet Services have announced that they will be selling Battlefield BC2 servers at $1.95/slot.

That comes to less than $64/month for a 32-man (default max) server. BASHandSlash.com reader Whiskey had a typical reaction on this news:

The gameserver provider ID3 pulbished prices for BC2 servers in Europe. For example a server in Europe with 32 slots is avaible for 51,90 € (72,66) US$. As EA and IW often calculated 1€ = 1US$ although it is around 1€ = 1,4US$ servers in the US might cost around 50 bucks.
