This is the hundred and fiftieth episode of the FPS community webcast, BASH.

One hundred and fifty.

As each cast averages out to about an hour in length, that’s equivalent to approximately six straight days of non-stop BASH.

We now have tied the total number of episodes of the TV series Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., which ran on CBS from 1964 to 1969 and those of shows like Perfect Strangers and Scrubs. Ya! Suck it Scrubs.

We have been able to accomplish this task in about three and a half years. The only thing surprising in all this is that we are still here. And that’s thanks of course to you, our listeners…who do what you do best.

Well, that’s not completely true. We’ve tried to get you to talk as well in these past fifty shows, either in our IRC chat room during our “live” podcasts or in our forums afterwards. 

Though we have recently become inconsistent with the live shows, we are re-tooling the idea of giving you folks a voice…so keep your eyes peeled.

All in all, I hope that we have, in some small way, positively affected the way you game.

Special thanks also go out to all our guests who have braved critical opinion to come on and talk to us. When we came on the scene, gaming webcasts were not really that popular. After all, who the heck wants to download an audio webcast in a video-centric environment?

Of course, we had thought you wouldn’t be listening to it online. The idea was that you’d go download it through your fave-podcatcher (like the iPod) and listen to it when you were on your way to work, school…or just sitting on the john (sadly, there will be more scatological references in the webcast).

Well, we’re not going to tell you how to listen to us, it’ll just suffice that you’re listening.
